However, Jen since denied allegations that she had physically attacked her ex.
“I did not hit him, I did not punch him,” the mother of two told People. “It was all recorded.”
So, what sparked the major public fallout? According to numerous reports, the tumultuous pair were arguing over the recent death of Jen’s dog.
“Their pit bull died. That’s part of why they were fighting,” a source told Us Weekly. “Jen was supposed to be taking care of the dogs when he was away filming, and Ronnie came home to their house and found the dog dead in the pool.”
Jen also confirmed her dog’s death to People, telling the magazine that she arrived home that week to find both her pit bull and Ronnie’s dog missing from the property. When asked about her pet, she claimed Ronnie told her one dog had drowned in backyard pool and he had taken the body to get cremated. Jen claimed she’s baffled over the death as her dog could swim perfectly.
A separate source said Ronnie initially stopped by the house to check up on the two dogs, but found Jen’s pet at the bottom of the pool upon his arrival.
“He grabbed his dog and put him in a safe spot,” the inside said. “Jen thinks he drowned her dog and went crazy trying to find him. She went on a rampage.”
The informant added, “Ron’s done a lot of stupid s**t in his life, but he isn’t in the wrong this time.”
