Celebrities have problems too
No Scale Needed
However, as she got older, the Good American jean designer became more confident. She claimed started rethinking the way she looked even before she became a fitness advocate and lost a whopping 40 pounds.
She said that while she was fine before the weight loss, she simply feels better in her body now.
“I don’t care how much I weigh. I don’t really care what size I am in clothes. I care about how I look and feel, and am I able to run up that hill, or can I get up the stairs without huffing and puffing,” she said. “I have girlfriends who are skinnier than I am, but I can sprint up a flight of stairs but they’re out of breath. So for me, that’s more of a rewarding feeling than seeing anything on the scale.”
She added, “I don’t want to get discouraged if the scale says a certain number. If I look really good, why do I care what the scale thinks?”
It’s About Phrasing
She revealed in a clip for Revenge Body that her family, which also works as their own form of management, initially pushed her to lose the weight.
“You know, for a long time I was told, ‘Khloe, you’ve got to lose weight because you’re really hurting the brand’ or this or that,” the KUWTK star said. “I understood that was coming from my management side of my family, but it does hurt, and there’s a way to say things.”
Sometimes when individuals lose weight, it becomes a problem to where it’s done unhealthily, or they began to focus too much on numbers and sizes. Despite the backlash from her family and generally rude people online about her weight, it sounds like Khloe has been good about keeping up a body positive attitude with her weight loss, and holds onto the belief that it’s all about the mindset and phrasing.
“I don’t believe in numbers,” she said.
She continued, saying this attitude applied to the scale and while shopping.
“If I am a size 10 in an outfit, that’s just what size that designer made,” she said about finding new clothes in new sizes, which rarely have set numbers and can often can vary greatly for women depending on the brand.
“They have different fit models. I learned that growing up and also being in the fashion industry myself,” the 33-year-old said. “When I was younger, I remember going into an expensive clothing store, and I asked for a size 12 and they said, ‘Oh, we don’t have something that big.’ I’m like, first of all, f**k you. But like, it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.”
Written in the Stars?
But for right now, Khloe has been focused on being a good mom — so much so, that she even looked to the stars to see what they had to say about her new baby girl. Khloe revealed that while she doesn’t necessarily believe in daily horoscopes, she does think personalities can be affected by an individuals sign. So, just to double check on her new baby girl, her team met with Susan Miller, a renowned astrologer from Astrology Zone to look at True’s birth chart.
“But, let’s be real, birth charts are confusing AF aside from the basics: True’s sun sign is Aries, her rising is Aquarius and her moon is in Pisces,” the “Stronger Looks Better Naked” author wrote on her website and app. “But Uranus is conjunct with the Sun? Venus in Taurus? What does that all mean!? We asked Susan to work her magic and break down True’s chart in layman’s terms.”
And so straight from Khloe and more so, good old astrologist Susan, we have a full breakdown of True, based on her astrological birth chart.
Personality wise, she’ll supposedly be an “extremely creative and an independent thinker, but is a bit rebellious. She has a high emotional intelligence and intellectualizes everything. She can’t be told do something without a good reason. Watch out, Khloé, “because I said so” won’t work on her!”
“She’s both very smart and powerful, making her a pathfinder, striking out in new territory,” the post continued, before adding that the newborn may be a lot like her famous momager grandmother: “She’s strategic and entrepreneurial, which means her future will be very bright.”
As far as skills go, she’ll allegedly be very musically inclined and will be interested in picking up an instrument or taking ballet.”
“She’s a great negotiator, strong businesswoman and is good with money. She’ll want a piggy bank and will want to visit the bank often,” she continued. Now that sounds like a Kardashian if I’ve ever heard it.
“She’s a strong writer and should be encouraged to write short stories,” she added. “She could have a future in screenwriting (or even acting) because her north node is in Leo.”
Sounds like the newest member of the Kardashian clan can basically do anything she sets her mind to – which we hope is true no matter what day she was born on!
