Fan aren't happy with the mom of three
Another day, another Kardashian drama.
Kim Kardashian is no stranger to scandal, particularly ones that involve her scantily-clad photos on social media. So of course, the 37-year-old reality star is now coming under fire for posting something that some are finding inappropriate for public consumption. While her risqué selfies have done more than break the internet in the past, it seems the latest photo to stir up controversy features none other than her 4-year-old daughter, North, and 2-year-old son, Saint.
Recently, the mom of three shared what — on surfaced — appeared to be a sweet photo of the siblings taking a bath together. However, not everyone liked what they were seeing…
Another day, Another Kardashian drama.
Kim Kardashian is no stranger to scandal, particularly ones that involve the scantily-clad photos she shares on social media. From her internet-breaking Paper magazine spread to the X-rated selfie that sparked her feud with Bette Midler and Chloe Grace Moretz, the 37-year-old reality star has received plenty of backlash for her pictures. While you’d think the latest controversy would be yet another unclothed selfie from the mother of three, it seems fans are more upset about the recent photo she shared of daughter North, 4, and son Saint, 2.
Put on Blast
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians mainstay was recently put on blast by followers when she posted a candid snapshot of her two eldest children taking a bath in a tub on Instagram. “My babies,” Kim captioned, alongside an emoji of two pink hearts.
In the photo, North can be seen sitting in a tub of water during her bath time. Beaming ear-to-ear, the young girl holds her little brother in her arms as Saint also smiles for the camera. The picture was taken in a way where no private parts were exposed.
Though it looked it a sweet family moment on surface, some fans were bothered by the fact that the mom had shared a picture of her children completely unclothed to her 111 million followers. A few even suggested that the material was inappropriate for public consumption, as they felt there were people who may see it for something more than just an innocent picture of children bathing.
“I dont like these bathing photos of children. Internet is full of pedophiles so I would never put pictures of my kids in here,” user @minskie_ wrote, while @oceandior12 commented, “I wouldn’t put up a photo like that up with my kids to many Paedophile on social media, just my opinion.”
“Tub photos are one of the top searched tags by pedophiles looking for pics of kids. I would reconsider and remove the photo,” @lisatracy3908 cautioned.
“Don’t put those types of pics in social media. Too many sickies out there,” @pilarmarilyn warned. “Reserve some things for yourself.”
“They are adorable, but please protect them more,” @lluvias_secas begged. “Internet is full of bad people and they could use this picture for bad things.”
“They are so adorable but posting this is kinda scary with your fame, who knows what weirdos will do with a childs photo,” @lsanchez57 remarked.
User @afrodesiacworldwide added, “They are beautiful pictures taken by a proud mom. But sick people are in the world. The internet is filled with them. Concern not judgement should be reasonable.”
Not So Innocent
A portion of fans pointed out that posting something so intimate about her family on an open forum could also be violating her kids’ right to privacy.
As Celebuzz! previously reported, Kim completely changed her approach to social media when she found out that the robbers who held her at gunpoint in 2016 was able to pinpoint her location using her public Instagram and Snapchat posts. After having $11 million worth of jewelry stolen from her, she vowed to keep things more private about her personal life for the safety of her family.
However, some of her followers thought this photo of North and Saint had crossed the line, going against everything that Kim swore she would never do following her Paris robbery.
“Yes, it is an innocent picture. However, in this day and age, along with her celebrity, pictures such as these should be kept private for family and/or close friends. Kim’s robbery, acknowledged by her, was directly related to her social media posts,” user @amazingmaxthedog noted. “Keep your kids as safe as your material possessions. I know your [sic] a good mom, get back on track. Unfortunately, the world can be dangerous.”
“Nope…please take this picture down…Keep your kids safe from the minds of predators… millions of people see this..Unfortunately there’s monsters out there,” @maldonadolou_2112 wrote. “good God woman.. did you not learn from your Paris incident..!”
