If you recall, it was previously reported that Kathy Hilton had a huge meltdown during the RHOBH girls trip to Aspen. Now, recent episodes are showing everything unfold and tensions grow.
Lisa Rinna revealed that she was still “shaken up” over Kathy’s behavior, and admitted that she had never seen anything like it. The reality star revealed during a confessional that she was screaming and throwing things, as well as saying “awful” words about her sister, Kyle Richards
During the most recent episode, Rinna sits down with both Kathy and Kyle to potentially try and mend what happened. However, fans are not happy with the way Rinna dealt with the conversation.
Viewers see Kathy start to get emotional during the conversation, and she ultimately reveals that she acted the way she did because she was dealing with sad news about her friend battling cancer. He passed away on February 16, 2022.
However, Rinna said that although she felt sorry for Kathy, she was not going to let her use grief as an opportunity to shove what happened under the rug – and many fans were not happy about this.
A Reddit user posted about the situation, and many had a lot to say.
“KH got some slack this week when she mentioned that her friend was dying of cancer. It should be mentioned that said friend was the person that Rick co-founded H&H with and was probably as close to being family that one could be,” a user said.
Many were upset with how Rinna shrugged off Kathy’s feelings, and some were even upset with the way Kyle sat back and said nothing.
“If Kyle can look out the window and cry about Dorits robbery and be upset that Sutton wasn’t equally as distraught then Kyle should have been upset that Rinna didn’t show the same empathy to Kathy for crying over a friend who is literally dying,” another commented.
